Katie Bowman, Psy. D.

Dr. Bowman completed her Master’s (M.A.) and Doctoral degrees (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Immaculata University, and her internship and fellowship at Berkshire Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Services. Dr. Bowman has presented academic research at national and international conferences, primarily in the areas of academic service delivery in higher education as well as marital conflict and child custody disputes. Her career has continued to focus on these two areas: psychoeducational assessment and services for children with learning needs; and the impact of marital conflict on children.  Dr. Bowman works with individuals and couples as they seek new ways of learning to self-soothe, manage distress, problem solve, and repair their relationships. It is her priority to approach each client with empathy, genuineness, and respect. She received training in collaborative law and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. This experience allows Dr. Bowman to understand how marriages can fall apart and utilize evidenced-based therapies to help them get back on track.
