ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP
GIRLS' SOCIAL SKILLS AND
We aim to guide and support girls experiencing difficulties with peers at school and in other social interactions.
The group format allows girls to connect with others while learning tools. We will use a curriculum that addresses basics of friendship and conversation, managing emotions and conflict, as well as developing positive self image and empathy.
ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP
MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY
We aim to reduce stress and anxiety by recognizing our thoughts, body, and feelings with an attitude of self-kindness and compassion. This non-judgmental awareness teaches us to cultivate a different relationship between ourselves and our challenges. It is a state of being which facilitates change in our perspective and reliance on our own inner resources for growth and healing.
SAME LOCAL, LICENSED TEAM
NEW, SAFE CARE ACCESS
For most of us, this is a period of change and uncertainty. Still, through it all, there is one thing that remains the same: NLCC's dedication to providing mental health care access for every individual, family, and child in our community who needs it, regardless of their ability to pay.
While our offices are closed to in-person sessions, we are offering online Telehealth sessions to both new and existing clients. Like in-person sessions, these are 50 minutes in length, provided by our highly-skilled clinical team, and compliant with HIPPA standards for patient security and safety.
To schedule an appointment, call our office at 484-746-3112 and consider hovering over the questions below to learn more about Telehealth care.
SUPPORT COMMUNITY WELLNESS
Our mission has always been to support the needs of every member of our community, regardless of their financial situation. Despite the many challenges COVID-19 has had on our community, we are devoted to keeping our doors open to both new and existing clients.
In the months to come, we anticipate a spike in patients needing access to mental health services as a result of continued isolation, trauma such as domestic violence, depression, marital discord, and anxiety around public health concern. We also foresee a surge in the need for increased client care subsidies due to increased financial strain, unemployment, and lowered wages.
